The system comprises a mounting fixture for the air supply, an underwater bubble-detection tank, and precision pressure monitoring instruments. During testing, the pressurized drum is fully submerged in water; the presence or absence of leaks at the drum opening or body is visually determined by observing whether air bubbles form. A pressure gauge provides continuous monitoring to strictly maintain the required test pressure.
